International Association of FDE is not a coding school. We exist for operators who already possess domain advantage — clinicians, insurers, logistics owners, private-bank relationship leads, factory directors — and who need a disciplined path from insight to a billable AI product.

The Association’s doctrine is explicit: 80% commercial acumen and industry vision, 20% Forward Deployed Engineering. Code is abundant. The scarce asset is the judgement to see a bottleneck that a buyer will fund, then to orchestrate models, agents, and retrieval into a system that ships.

Members are assessed on commercial architecture as much as technical delivery. The IAFDE credential is therefore a signal to employers and investors that the holder can identify an AI opportunity and execute it as a Forward Deployed Engineer.

Verification of every issued credential is public, so enterprise HR can inspect legality without an account.
